## Symptoms

- * When users query for a specific time (example 1pm-2pm), the results of the search include logs outside of this time.
* Issue happens on R80.10 using SmartConsole version 105.
* Downgrading to lower SmartConsole version resolves the issue.

## Cause

In SmartConsole version 105, there was a new feature added that allows customers to change the timezone. Since this change, the GUI sends the server a query with the time frame converted to UTC time.

In R80.10, this causes a problem because the server expects to get local time zone + offset and convert it to UTC. This results in another conversion to UTC time. Consequently, the user gets the wrong results.
