# sk149773 - Software deployment from local path or URL fails to verify package

## Symptoms

- * Client packages fail to install with error *"Signature Verification failed"*   

* *cpda.log* shows:  
  `INFO - The digital signature of the object did not verify.`
* cpda logs shows: 2020-11-10 12:25:03.985 t:5880 root \[debug \] Not ok, code: 0x80096010 \[g_checkSignature\] 2020-11-10 12:25:03.985 t:5880 root \[debug \] The digital signature of the object did not verify. \[g_checkSignature\]

## Cause

Client package copied to local, UNC, or URL path was exported from Endpoint Management Server.

Signature of exported package does not match the expected value of the client package.
