# sk148673 - CloudGuard SaasS is stuck in trial version, login fails

## Symptoms

* Activating the license results in the following error: `Error was occurred, please try again`

## Cause

The password includes unsupported characters in the XML, such as \> , \< or \&. As a result, the user receives the generic SOAP errors mentioned above.
