# sk148534 - Bond Load Sharing interface does not go down when fewer than the required slaves are up

## Symptoms

- * Bond interface slaves do not have link, but the bond status is still up. (Less slaves with link UP then the required amount of slaves).

* Output of "cphaprob show_bond BondX" shows the link is down, but the status is still active, for example:  

  ```

## Cause

Wrong notifications sent from the Firewall to the cluster mechanism, and reporting the link status of the slaves is still active. As a result, the cluster mechanism assume the bond is healthy, and do not cause a change in the interface state. (cluster fail-over will not happen)
