## Symptoms

- * The Anti-Bot and Anti-Virus blades do not seem to be active; there are no prevent or detect logs.
* The kernel does not consider the blades as enabled. This can be confirmed using the information in the **cpview** -\> **Software Blades** section, or by running the 'fw stat -b AMW' command, which shows that all Threat Prevention blades are disabled.
* In some cases, the following error appears on the Security Gateway:

  ```
  "Anti-bot & Anti-virus" is not responding. Verify that "Anti-Spam & Anti-bot" is installed on
  the gateway. If 'Anti-Spam & Anti-bot' should not be installed verify that it is not selected
   in the Products List of the gateway (SmartDashboard > Security Gateway > General
  Properties > Software Blades List)
  ```

* The output of the 'enabled_blades'(on the Security Gateway) command shows that the blades are enabled.

## Cause

Only the Access Policy was pushed to the Security Gateway after the blades were enabled. As these blades are part of the Threat Prevention engine, the Threat Prevention policy needs to be pushed.
