## Symptoms

- In-place upgrade with CPUSE fails:

There is not enough disk space for installation
Contact Check Point Technical Services for further assistance

## Cause

* The `root` partition ("`/`") or the `/var/log` partition is full.
* There is not enough disk space to take a Gaia snapshot.  
  Output of the Gaia Clish command "*show snapshots*" shows a lack of free disk space.
