# sk147752 - VPN traffic through the Security Gateway fails to traverse through another VPN tunnel to the destination

## Symptoms

- When gateway A is configured to have a VPN connection to gateway C which already has a VPN tunnel to gateway B, and gateway A's traffic must traverse through gateway B, the traffic fails. A--B==C

## Cause

The Security Gateway does not differentiate between the separate tunnels as they both include the same peers. The traffic will fail.
