# sk144832 - "Error: Failed to find any routes on the machine" when creating a VSX cluster

## Symptoms

- * Error message "Error: Failed to find any routes on the machine" is received when creating a VSX Cluster

* The output of *"show route"* shows that there are routes on the VSX Gateway(s)

* Output of *"#ifconfig"* shows that there are alias interfaces configured on the VSX Gateway(s), for example:  

  ```
