## Solution

A P**airing key** is a secure key that is used to pair CloudGuard agents with your specific account in CloudGuard service.

When installing the CloudGuard agent you will be asked for your pairing key. Once installation completes you will see the server added to your server list within your CloudGuard account.

Note: The Pairing key should remain secret so no one else could add servers to your CloudGuard account.
