# sk144252 - 'show asset all' command does not provide output when one PSU is removed from a 15000 series appliances

## Symptoms

- * When one PSU is removed from a 15000 series appliance, the *show asset all* command does not provide output.
* The *show asset power-supply* does not work.

## Cause

When a PSU is removed from a dual PSU system, the result is a circuit break. (PSUs contain a circuit board to complete a circuit for the LOM to monitor the PSU.) When the PSU is removed, the 'show asset' command attempts to query the PSU and fails. This is by design, as the circuit is missing. If a PSU is not meant to be used in a dual PSU system, a PSU Spacer is necessary.
