# sk142535 - SmartConsole API Terminal freezes and crashes

## Symptoms

- * After replacing the WebUI/Apache certificate, SmartConsole API Terminal may freeze and crash after few seconds.
* mgmt_cli commands from the ssh work successfully

## Cause

The API Terminal has a background request for the Apache Certificate's fingerprint which is required to be confirmed, to replace the old fingerprint. As there is no option to confirm the fingerprint, the SmartConsole freezes and eventually terminates.
