## Symptoms

- * After an IPS update, almost all protections are changed from "Prevent" to "Detect" and set to Staging Mode.
* Under Threat Tools -\> Profiles -\> Edit -\> IPS -\> Updates, "Set activation as Staging Mode (Detect)" is enabled.

## Cause

IPS package had executed a change to a large amount of protections, or added new protections.
