# sk142213 - Netflow traffic statistics are not sent after an upgrade

## Symptoms

- * After an upgrade to R80.20/R80.30/R80.40, the Security Gateway does not send Netflow statistics to the collector.

* Packet captures shows that Netflow traffic is not been generated by the Security Gateway.

## Cause

Since R80.20 it is required to enable log and accounting in the access policy rules relevant to the Netflow traffic in order for Netflow to function properly. All rules for the traffic that you wish to export with Netflow must have accounting enabled.
