## Symptoms

- * Endpoint Security Server's Anti-Malware updater getting "connection reset by peer" error in relevant log
* Anti-Malware updater updating process interrupted in the middle, and in the relevant log, the following error can be found:  
  "Connection has been closed by remote host http://teadv.checkpoint.com/\*"  
  Can be found in the following log file: $UEPMDIR/engine/conf/updates/bin/bdav/logs/bdav_updates.log  
* the files updsdk.xml is not present on the Server at all

## Cause

Updates are intercepted by some security product on the Security Gateway (IPS \\ Anti-bot \\Anti-Virus or other similar product).
