# sk141953 - Unable to open specific HTTPS sites when SSL Inspection is enabled on locally managed SMB appliances

## Symptoms

- * The user cannot open specific HTTPS sites when SSL Inspection is enabled on locally managed SMB appliances (e.g., gmx.de , web.de).
* The browser claims that the site has a self signed certificate, and that the user is being tricked.
* The issuing CA of the site's certificates can be found in the appliance's trusted CAs (under Access Policy -\> SSL Inspection -\> Advanced).
* The user cannot configure SSL bypass rules for these sites.
* Checking the security logs, the user sees "HTTPS Validation detected" and "Untrusted Server Certificate in connection".
* If SSL Inspection is turned off, everything works correctly.

## Cause

Issues found in root CA cache size caused the failure in loading the entire list of installed CAs.
