# sk140792 - Installer install command fails to show the package with "Connection error. Packages list might be incomplete"

## Symptoms

- * After importing upgrade package through clish for upgrade to a major OS version, the package is not displayed when typing "`installer install`" and pressing Tab.   
  Instead, a connection error is shown:

  ```
  
  rab > installer install
  ** ************************************************************************* **
  ** Connection error. Packages list might be incomplete **
  ** ************************************************************************* **
  Show packages: no packages to display
  ```

* The symptom is observed on latest CPUSE builds (ex - 1573, 1567). Older CPUSE build for example 1511 does not show this symptom.

## Cause

The "*installer install*" option has been removed from CPUSE for OS upgrades to avoid performing clean install by mistake.

While upgrading to a minor version (e.g., from R77 to R77.30) with "installer install", the database is kept and upgraded to the newer version. However, "*installer install*" performs clean installation while upgrading to a Major version (e.g., from R77 to R80)

To avoid undesired clean-installation of the database by mistake while doing an upgrade, this option has been removed.
