# sk140632 - In a VSLS cluster with more than two members, some members on which active VSs are present are not updated

## Symptoms

- When all VSs are on the same VSX device, vSEC updates are applied successfully; however, when the VSs are active on other, non-active VSX devices, the update will not apply to them.

## Cause

vSEC Controller sends objects only to the main VSX of the VSX cluster. When the VS on this VSX is active or in standby mode, it receives the update and syncs the other members.

In VSLS mode with more than two members, some of the members have the VS in backup mode. If the vSEC Controller object is sent to the main VSX when its VS is in backup mode, it will not update the other members. That is, VSs that are on standby and active on the main VSX will be updated, but the VSs in backup mode will not.
