# sk140372 - "Failed to delete object: Object is used by a policy or other object" error message when trying to delete object from SmartConsole

## Symptoms

- * "Failed to delete object: Object is used by a policy or other object" error message when trying to delete object from SmartConsole.
* Performing "where used" on the cluster object shows that cluster object is associated with "gatewayStaticProfilesConfiguration". Right-clicking on the "gatewayStaticProfilesConfiguration" shows delete option is grayed out.
* Another possible symptom: Performing "where used" on the firewall object shows that it is not being used.

## Cause

The cluster object is present in https inspection policy, which does not show up in "where used".
