# sk139233 - IPS Geo Protection does not enforce action for Romania

## Symptoms

- * IPS Geo-Protection does not enforce action for Romania although it is configured to block/allow IPs to/from Romania.
* IPS Geo-Protection does not show any logs for IPs to/from Romania.
* [sk94364](https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solutionid=sk94364) confirms that the IP belongs to Romania. `IpToCountry.csv` file shows the country code as `ROM`.

## Cause

Within the internal database the country code for Romania is listed as *ROM* , not *ROU.* For more on country codes, see [here](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_3166-1_alpha-3).
