# sk138892 - How to generate a CPInfo file on Spark Firewall

## Solution

On Quantum Spark Gateways, you can generate a CPInfo file in two ways:

* In the WebUI

* In the CLI

### To generate a CPInfo file in the WebUI on a Quantum Spark Gateway

1. Connect to the WebUI the Quantum Spark Gateway.

2. Log in.
3. From the left panel, click the **Device** view \> in the **System** section, click the **Tools** page.

4. Click the **Generate CPInfo File** button.

5. When the CPInfo file creation completes, click **Download CPInfo File**.

6. Save the file in the desired location.

### To generate a CPInfo file in the CLI on a Quantum Spark Gateway

1. Connect to the command line on the Quantum Spark Gateway.

2. Log in.

3. If the default shell is Gaia Clish, then go to the Expert mode:

   `expert`
4. Run the "`cpinfo`" command with the applicable parameters:

   Syntax:

   | `cpinfo [-p] [-S] [-o /path/name.extension [-z]]` |

   Parameters:
