# sk137676 - IOS device not sending DNS requests through VPN when Connected to Capsule VPN

## Symptoms

- * Users connecting with Capsule VPN to Security Gateway are not able to resolve any URL's
* Applications on the device are able to resolve URLs
* When using the browser to open a link to an internal resource or external resource DNS resolution is not working
* Connecting to direct IP address is working via the VPN or external sites
* Trying solution in [sk103772](https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solutionid=sk103772) does not solve the issue.

A limitation with the IOS devices.
