# sk137114 - Anti-Bot, Anti-Virus, URL Filtering and/or HTTPs Inspection rules are not enforced correctly and "RAD daemon is down" or "Internal system error in RAD process" messages are seen in SmartLog

## Symptoms

- * Anti-Bot, Anti-Virus, URL Filtering and/or HTTPs Inspection rules are not enforced correctly.
* Recurring RAD related error logs seen in SmartLog, including the phrases "RAD daemon is down" or "Internal system error in RAD process" issued by one (or more) of the following products: Anti-Bot, Anti-Virus, URL Filtering, HTTPs Inspection

## Cause

Anti-Bot, Anti-Virus, URL Filtering, HTTPs Inspection uses Resource ADvisor (RAD process) to enforce their policies/profiles.  
RAD forwards the relevant reputation/categorization requests to CP cloud. The request is being made to cws.checkpoint.com.  
cws.checkpoint.com resolves to one Akamai servers. The server may change and once it does RAD is not able to recognize it.

The result is connections being sent to the previous, "old" server which might not be available anymore
