# sk134353 - "Failed to verify the package" error message, Endpoint Security Client deployment fails

## Symptoms

- * Endpoint Security Client deployment fails with the following error message:   
  `"Failed to verify the package"`
* There are error messages in the cpda.log (%dadir%\\logs\\cpda.log):  
  `Verification of installation package failed, error code: 28151`   
  `Not ok, code: 0x80096005 (g_checkSignature)`

## Cause

The UTN-USERFirst-Object certificate is missing. As a result, the Endpoint Security Client package for the upgrade is regarded as untrusted.
