# sk134012 - Cloning policy with global Domain layer clones the policy without the layer

## Symptoms

- After the user clones a policy package that has an assigned Global Policy package, the Domain layers in the placeholder of some of the assigned global layers are not cloned and empty.

## Cause

This is caused by a shared and assigned global layer: in this case clone policy does not clone the policy placeholders.
