# sk133933 - After an upgrade to R80.10, a remote backup to an SCP server cannot be restored

## Symptoms

- After an upgrade to R80.10, a remote backup to an SCP server cannot be restored, and the user sees the following message:   
`
Scheduled backup name may only contain digits, letters, and underscores (_)
`

## Cause

The backup name is automatically generated from the FQDN of the host. When a domain name is defined, the backup naming convention is:

`backup_host.domain_DD_Mmm_YYYY_HH_MM.tgz`

The dot in host.domain prevents the backup restoration.
