# sk131712 - Application and URL Filtering logs are missing from R80.x Log and Management Servers

## Symptoms

- After the user enables and configures the Application and URL filtering policy, traffic is matched on the relevant rules but the logs are missing. (Logging is enabled on the matched Application Control rule.)

## Solution

Enable Detailed or Extended logging on the relevant Application and URL Filtering rules.

1. In the R80.xx SmartDashboard, navigate to the affected rule in the Application and URL Filtering Policy.
2. In the Track Column, click on the drop down menu \>**more**.
3. Change the Track Settings from Log to **Detailed** or **Extended**.
4. Install the policy.
