# sk126272 - No link between gateway and peer switch after establishing physical connection

## Symptoms

- No link between firewall gateway and peer switch after establishing physical connection

## Cause

The MPO/MTP cable type is wrong. Correct cable type for connecting the gateway to a peer switch is not known.

## Solution

Select a **MPO Type B** cable with 'female' connector on both sides.
