## Cause

According to Redhat:

* There is a known issue with be2net driver/firmware.
* Customers using HP blades with an on-board be2net card have reported this. In this case after a reboot the kernel fails to recognize the be2net ports and bring them online.

## Solution

This is not a Check Point issue.

However, on R80.10 the issue cased due to the same reason as the be2net firmware version that installed with the R80.10 installation image is affected as well - in order to overcome this [Contact Check Point Support](https://www.checkpoint.com/support-services/contact-support/) to get a Hotfix for this issue or install the old rpm version that doesn't affected from this issue.

**Important note:**If you choose to install the rpm package, on each upgrade of hotfix or JHF version that rpm package will be restored to the problematic version of be2net and reinstallation of the package is needed.

**Important: See [Third-Party Software Disclaimer](https://www.checkpoint.com/third-party-software-disclaimer/index.html)**

* Upgrade the NIC firmware to latest.
* After cold reboot error messages disappear .
* For HP blades:
 1. Run the 'reset' command from the onboard administrator cli to reset the blade.
1. Or power cycle the entire blade chassis.
