# sk125112 - Resource Control Monitoring does not work on a machine with more than 32 cores

## Symptoms

- * VSX Resource Control Monitoring does not work on a VSX Gateway with more than 32 CPU cores.

* Output of the command "`fw vsx resctrl stat`" shows:

  `/bin/cpfw_start: line X: XXX Segmentation fault`

## Solution

This problem was fixed. The fix is included in:

**Note:** This solution is relevant only for VSX **R80.30 and lower with kernel 2.6.18** .
