# sk125014 - FWD process stops working and core dump is generated on Log Server

## Symptoms

- * FWD process stops working and core dump is generated on Log Server
* Restarting CP services by running: 'mdsstop_customer \<CMA name\>; mdsstart_customer \<CMA name\>' or 'kill FWD with kill -9 \<FWD PID\>' did not resolve the issue.
* In/var/log/messages\* the following error can be seen for the FWD PID (per the Core Dump created):  

  ```
  
  Log asynch buffer size was initialized with size: 196608
  Log buffer initialized with size: 4096
  FireWall-1 Daemon is running
  syslog_run: syslogd was executed under pid 26659
  fwdgxsam_init(): gx_sam_proxy_create failed.
  ```

* Starting FWD process in full debug mode with: `#TDERROR_ALL_ALL=5 fwd -n -d` shows the followings before stop working:

  ```
  
  [FWD 10957 3275459472]@APJURM2000[22 Apr 11:25:10] .--> CBlobFetcherThread::FetchBlobHandler

  ```

## Cause

A scheme change that was introduced in the "dlp_blob_cache.db" file which holds the metadata for the blobs fetch from the Firewall.
