# sk124712 - Threat Emulation fails emulation due to low disk space

## Symptoms

- The system cannot emulate files due to lack of disk space. The files will be allowed or blocked according to the Fail-Mode setting (Threat Prevention \> Advanced \> Engine Settings). Free disk space is lower than the \<...\> minimum threshold required for Threat Emulation.

## Cause

1. Minimum disk space configuration is not aligned with the log minimum space configuration.
2. Large files and logs were created on the appliance.
3. Threat Emulation is enabled or Anti-Virus is enabled along with enabling deep inspection scanning.
