# sk124132 - Safe search does not work in Google Chrome on an SMB appliance

## Symptoms

- When the user tries to block sex images in Google search engine via Google Chrome on an SMB appliance, the block works in Internet Explorer and Firefox, but not in Google Chrome.

## Cause

Google search engine is communicating with Google servers through QUIC Protocol (UDP, port 443). This protocol is bypassing the SSL inspection, and that is the reason why Safe search does not work in Google Chrome.
