## Symptoms

- * Output of `cphaprob -a if` command shows "Warning: Sync will not function since there aren't any sync(secured) interfaces".
* Output of `cphaprob state` command shows "HA module not started".

## Cause

*/var/opt/CPsuite-R77/fw1/conf/discntd.if* file includes the Management interface of the VSX Gateway. Including the Management interface of the VSX Gateway in the *discntd.if* file prevents the Gateway from starting ClusterXL processes.
