# sk123368 - "SmartReporter Server has been disconnected from SmartCenter Server / Log Server "127.0.0.1", verify that SmartCenter Server / Log Server is running" error message when receiving emails

## Symptoms

- Emails are being received with the following error:  

`SmartReporter Server has been disconnected from SmartCenter Server / Log Server "127.0.0.1", verify that SmartCenter Server / Log Server is running.`  
***REPORT NAME***` generation failure - Failed to connect to database. Error: Reason: could not connect to server: Connection refused.`  
`Is the server running on host "127.0.0.1" and accepting TCP/IP connections on port 18272?`

## Cause

SmartReporter is disabled.

There is a scheduled report in SmartReporter configured to generate a report and send an email. The report generation will fail if SmartReporter is disabled.
