# sk123334 - Changes to the global domain for service objects in the MDS GUI are not reflected in the API or fail to complete

## Symptoms

- * In Multi-Domain Management, when the user overrides global values in the UI or the API and then performs '`show service`', the global values are displayed instead of the changes the user made.
* When the user tries to override the global values twice, the second try fails with "`Validation error`" message.

## Cause

Due to a code limitation, the wrong values are displayed: global domain instead of local domain.
