# sk123135 - Various emulation issues after changing "Maximum Emulation Time" value in Threat Emulation engine settings

## Symptoms

- * After changing the Maximum emulation time (e.g. from default 60 sec to 600 sec), the following warning is shown in SmartView Tracker:  

  `"Warning: Email is delayed for 10 minutes in the MTA queue. Consider adjusting the scanning policy in order to reduce the load."`

* The emulation time of any file is equal to the value of "Maximum Emulation time" settings.
* Threat emulation queue is increasing dramatically with time.
* The option to "Download original file" from UserCheck portal stopped working.
* If Mail Transfer Agent (MTA) is enabled on the Security Gateway / SandBlast Appliance, mail queue dramatically increases with time.

## Cause

Maximum Emulation Time configuration is deprecated, and should not be changed from default value.
