## Symptoms

- When a failover occurs on one of the links, tunnel test packets are initiated from the internal LAN instead of the external IP.

## Cause

When the external interfaces do not function properly (for example, a failover), the tunnel test packets will be initiated from the internal LAN and not from the external IP.
