# sk122515 - Endpoint Security VPN client sends SCV log to SmartView Tracker only once upon connection to site, and only if it is incompliant

## Symptoms

- * Endpoint Security VPN client sends an SCV log to SmartView Tracker only once upon connection to the site and only if it is incompliant.
* Endpoint Security VPN client will not send the same log, if the client disconnects and reconnects. it will only send a log if the compliance status has changed either way.
* If the Endpoint Security VPN client has become incompliant while it was connected to the site, then the next time it connects to the site, it will send a log to SmartView Tracker with the user's name.
* If the Endpoint Security VPN client has become incompliant while it was not connected to the site, then the next time it connects to the site, it will send a log to SmartView Tracker with the word "default" instead of a username.
* Additionally, the Endpoint Security VPN client will send a log once upon Window's startup as well, but it will contain "default" because the client is not yet connected at that point.
