## Symptoms

- * Scenario 1: In $FWDIR/log/sfwd.elg for error: ` "sfwd_periodic_memory_rss: sfwd RSS (191 MB) is over the defined limit (180 MB). sfwd is exiting."`
* Scenario 2: In /logs/upgrade_image you see: libmtd: error!: bad eraseblock number 64, mtd2 has 64 eraseblocks nandwrite: error!: /dev/mtd2: MTD get bad block failed error 22 (Invalid argument) nandwrite: error!: Data was only partially written due to error error 22 (Invalid argument)

## Cause

Scenario 1:

After the download was scheduled, one of the Security Gateway's processes crashed because of lack of memory (SFWD), and did not reschedule the download task for when the Security Gateway restarts.

Scenario 2:

Firmware upgrade process does not accommodate for bad blocks at the end of first kernel partition and failing upgrade.
