# sk122274 - Load Balancers, routes, and Azure Route Tables (UDR) do not update during a failover in Azure Cluster or High Availability

| Property | Value |

## Symptoms

- * During failover, the secondary member does not resolve `login.windows.net` and `management.azure.com`; when the secondary member cannot resolve addresses, the external Load Balancers (LBs), routes, and IPs do not update.
* Azure Route Tables (UDR) are not getting updated automatically on Azure portal once failover to the secondary Security Gateway, hence traffic is getting dropped.

## Cause

The update failure is caused by internal DNS servers in the configuration, which become inaccessible when the Failover is initiated.
