# sk122006 - Files with eot file type are classified as exe and sent to emulation

## Symptoms

- * SmartView Tracker shows:

* Kernel debug (*fw ctl debug -m CI + all* ) shows eot file type is classified as exe:  
  ci_te_classify_file: File name from session attributes is: Filename.eot (not interesting);  
  ci_te_classify_file: magic file type is 3900;  
  ci_av_get_http_partial_flag: partial flag is 0;  
  ci_av_handler_get_file_extensions_from_ft_id: _ft_id=3900 found in ft_mappings, nelements=1;  
  ci_av_handler_get_file_extensions_from_ft_id: data=exe;
* dlpu debug (*fw_debug dlpu on TDERROR_ALL_ALL=5* ) shows the file sent to TE as Filename.eot.exe  
  :meta_data (  
  :file_orig_name (Filename.eot.exe)  
  :file_path ("/opt/CPsuite-R77/fw1/tmp/te/dlpu_tmp_files_0-2/{XXXXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXX-XXXXXXXXXXXXX}")  
  :file_type (exe)

## Cause

Classification of EOT files is not currently supported. In rare conditions, some files can be classified as a supported file type and will be sent to Threat Emulation.
