# sk121814 - Upgrade fails and reverts back when upgrading from Windows 10 Anniversary to Windows 10 Creators

## Symptoms

- Upgrade fails and reverts back when upgrading from Windows 10 Anniversary to Windows 10 Creators.

## Solution

Check Point FDE does not affect this upgrade.

**The solution is to make sure that the upgrade is performed with Administrator rights.** If the machine is on a domain, then ensure that the user is a domain administrator before performing upgrade.

If problem persists, try to upgrade Windows 10 without Endpoint Security Client installed.

If the issue still persists, contact Microsoft for support.
