## Symptoms

- * Traffic from an interface configured in Monitor Mode is not fully accelerated by SecureXL, as it would be under normal circumstances.
* The output of `fwaccel conns` and/or `fwaccel6 conns` shows a very low number of connections in the SecureXL Connections table.
* In CPVIEW --\> Advanced --\> SecureXL --\> F2F-Reasons - A crucial rate of "TCP-other miss conn" drop rate is detected.

## Cause

Traffic coming through an interface configured in Monitor Mode will not be fully accelerated. The traffic is directed to, at the very least, the SecureXL medium path (PXL) or the slow path (F2F) so that the Security Gateway is alerted to the zone on which the traffic flows (internal/external).
