# sk121717 - Auto fetching identity sources causes Identity Collector to crash

## Symptoms

- When the user clicks **Identity Collector** \> **Identity Source** \> **New Source** \> **Active Directory** \> **Fetch Automatically**, the Identity Collector crashes.

## Cause

A problem in the domain controller objects (these are created during automatic server discovery) has corrupted the main thread event stack, resulting in crashes of scheduled events.

## Solution

This problem was fixed. The fix is included starting from:
