# sk121502 - UserCheck redirects to HTTPS even when UserCheck Portal is configured as HTTP

## Symptoms

- The UserCheck page displays in HTTPS even when the UserCheck Portal is defined as HTTP in SmartConsole:

## Cause

Due to browser security reasons, and in order to avoid SSL warnings, the UserCheck engine will redirect HTTPS traffic to the HTTPS UserCheck page even when the UserCheck Portal is configured as HTTP.
