# sk121378 - In-place upgrade of Management Server from R80 to R80.10 fails using CPUSE

## Symptoms

- * User experiences the issues described in [sk117539](https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solutionid=sk117539).

  After following the sk117539, the upgrade fails yet again later in the script.
* The *$MDS_FWDIR/log/cpm.elg* log file on the Management Server contains this line:

  `ERROR cpm.commands.SchemaChangesCommand [main]: Exception thrown during running schema changes command java.util.InputMismatchException: got at least one duplicate UID in requested list, duplicates UIDs: [XXX]`

## Cause

Duplicate UIDs cause the upgrade failure.

## Solution

This problem was fixed. The fix is included starting from:

A Support Engineer will make sure the Hotfix is compatible with your environment before providing it.  
For faster resolution and verification, collect [CPinfo](https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solutionid=sk92739) file from the Management Server involved in the case.
