# sk121102 - <code>ips stat</code> command reports an IPS profile on gateways with no IPS profile

## Symptoms

- * `ips stat` command reports an IPS profile on gateways with no IPS profile after upgrading the Security Management to R80.x.
* The command `ips stat` returns:

  ```
  
  IPS Status: Enabled
  IPS Profile: No_protection_
  ```

* Running the command `ips off` causes the IPS status to be correct until next policy install.

## Cause

Since in R80 Security Management database was changed, *ips stat* behavior was also changed. When running *ips stat* , Security Gateways need to read the field '*profile_type* ' - if value = 'deactivated' then IPS blade is off.  
Currently Security Gateways check the IPS profile name, which is the wrong logic.
