# sk121098 - Process wsdnsd crashes and creates a core dump

## Symptoms

- * Process wsdnsd crash and creates a core dump in /var/log/dump/usermode directory when the Security Gateway is configured as HTTP/HTTPS Proxy.
* wsdnsd is not showing up in the output of `cpwd_admin list` command as terminated:  

  ```
  WSDNSD     0      T     1       [08:07:36] 24/10/2017  N    wsdnsd
  ```

* The wsdnsd process does not show up in the output of `ps aux | grep -v grep | grep wsdnsd` command.

## Cause

Bad entry in the */etc/hosts* file on the Security Gateway.
