## Solution

### Important: R80 and R80.10 End Of Support on January 2022

**Note: During February 2022, we will remove the ability to download the version directly from this article and CPUSE.**

In order to improve user experience, Check Point updates the latest product images with recommended fixes.  
The new image (Take 479) contains several fixes and enhancements that apply to the First Time Configuration Wizard, Upgrade process and Initial Installation process.

New Image is relevant for:

* New customers
* Customers that would like to install new R80.10 version (Security Gateway or Management server)
* Customers that would like to upgrade their setups from Check Point R80 versions and below to R80.10

* **R80.10 GA is already installed on server. Is an upgrade to the new image required now?**

  > No, customers that installed the previously released R80.10 image (*Take 421/Take 462* ) are not required to install this new image (*Take 479* ).   
  > For new image 479 - [R80.10 Jumbo HFA Take 154](https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solutionid=sk116380) and above are compatible to (can be installed on) this new image.   
  > For new image 462 - [R80.10 Jumbo HFA Take 70](https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solutionid=sk116380) and above are compatible to (can be installed on) this new image.
  >
  > Note that Check Point recommends to install the most recent General Availability Jumbo HFA.
* **What Jumbo HFA Take can be installed on top of R80.10 image?**

* **What Jumbo HFA Take is included in this new image?**

  > New images (*Take 462/Take 479* ) include Jumbo HFA *Take 42.*   
  > Customers who want to obtain the latest fixes, should install the relevant Jumbo HFA Take as mentioned in the previous question.
* **Can the most recent R80.10 image be used to restore backup taken on a previous R80.10 image?**

  > Yes, it can be safely restored, even if you had hotfixes installed on the previous R80.10 image.
* **Can Management HA work on servers with different R80.10 images installed?**

  > No, it is not supported. Management High Availability is supported only between Management High Availability servers with the same build number (see limitation CPM-1167 in [sk110519](https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solutionid=sk110519))
* **Can different R80.10 images be used on different cluster members?**

  > Yes, it can be safely used. Note that it is recommended to align the members with the same version.
* **Where to download the previous R80.10 images?**

  > All the original R80.10 images are available below:
