# sk120742 - SmartLog free text queries for subnet ranges display inaccurate results

## Symptoms

- * Searching network ranges, network objects or network groups in SmartLog without prefix does not always provide accurate results. Example:

  <br />

  10.10.10.0/25 should give appropriate results

  <br />

  10.10.10.128/25 will give inaccurate results

  <br />

* SmartLog queries worked as expected in R77.30 and lower versions for the same searches.
* SmartLog queries with prefixes (e.g. src: or dst:) display accurate network results.

## Cause

SmartLog queries do not resolve IP network addresses for the "free text search" but do text search to retrieve fast results for all queries.
